Salty Sesame Cookies
Ingredients :
2 egg yolks, ½ glass of water, ½ glass of milk; 25 gr. (half packet) melter butter or margarine, 1 ,5 dessertspoon of salt, 1 dessertspoon of Tatkat powdered sugar, 1 dessertspoon of mahalep, 4,5 glasses of flour, 1 packet of Tatkat baking powder, For decoration: 2 egg whites and abundant amount of sesame.
Directions :
Mix egg yolks, melted margarine, water and milk with a wire whip. Add salt, granulated sugar and mahalep and stir well. Add flour and baking powder and knead it until you have soft dough. Take a piece of dough and roll it into a ball shape. Coat the balls of dough first with egg whites and then sesame. Place the cookies on the tray with grease-proof paper. Bake them in the oven preheated to 180 degree until they get brown.
