Love Cake
Ingredients :
½ glass of granulated sugar, 8 eggs, 125 gr margarine ,250 gr bitter chocolate ,2 tablespoons of flour, 150 gr ground hazelnut crocan, 2 glasses of whipped cream, 1 glass of hot water, 1 teaspoon of granulated coffee, 2 tablespoons of cognac, 10-12 strawberries, 3-4 tablespoons of coffee.
Directions :
Mix margarine and chocolate in a pot and melt them at low heat. Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Mix granulated sugar and egg yolks. Beat the egg whites in a separate bowl until they turn into white snow. Pour the chocolate mixture into the egg yolks little by little and stir them with a wooden spoon. Add the egg whites and stir again. Add the flour and stir well. Pour the mixture into a heart-shaped cake mould coated with oil. Preheat the oven to 200 °C and bake the cake for 30 minutes. After the baked cake has cooled, remove the cake from its pan. Cut the cake horizontally to create 2 equal slices. Mix warm water, granulated coffee and cognac in a bowl. Pour the mixture onto the slices of cake and make them wet with the mixture. Spread half of the whipped cream onto the bottom slice and flatten it with the help of a spatula. Sprinkle the crocon over the whipped cream. Place the other slice over the bottom slice. Spread the remaining whipped cream over and all around the cake. Sprinkle cacao over the cake by using tea strainer. Wash the strawberries and wipe them dry. Decorate the cake with the sliced strawberries. Let sit in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Cake the cake into slices for serving.
