Almond Cookie
Ingredients :
125 gr margarine, 2 tablespoons of milk, 2 tablespoon of ground almond, 2 eggs, 1 glass of granulated sugar, 1 packet of baking powder, 1 packet of tatkat vanilla, sufficient amount of flour. For decoration: 1 glass of coarse grained almond.
Directions :
Separate the egg yolks form whites. Mix the egg yolks, vanilla, milk, sugar, ground almond, margarine and baking powder in a large bowl. Gradually add the flour into the mixture and knead it until you have dough of a consistency of an earlobe. Take a piece of dough about the size of a walnut and roll it into a shape that resembles a ball. Coat the dough balls first with the egg whites and then coarse-grained almond. Place them on a tray with grease-proof paper. Bake the cookies in the oven preheated to 180 degree until they are lightly brown. Ready for serve.
